OCTA has raised a $3.5 million seed round led by Middle East Venture Partners, bringing total funding to $5.7 million, and launched OCTA Flow for accounting firms.

MEVP led the round, with participation from Wa'ed Ventures, Plug and Play, and A-typical Ventures, alongside existing investors Sukna Ventures and Sadu Capital.

What OCTA Flow does

OCTA Flow runs reconciliations, bookkeeping, and month-end close as agentic workflows. AI agents produce the work while accountants review, apply judgment, and approve before anything reaches a client.

More than 520 firms signed up for access within six weeks. In August 2026, OCTA Flow processed 172,000 transactions and returned more than $75,000 in billable capacity to firms.

Why OCTA is building AI agents for firms

OCTA believes AI should increase the leverage of accounting firms without removing them from trusted client relationships. The firm remains responsible for review, judgment, and the final outcome.

What comes next

OCTA will use the funding to deepen AI and engineering work, automate more of the monthly accounting cycle, and reach more firms globally, with the United States at the center of its expansion plan.
