Getting Started with the New Dashboard

The revamped dashboard is available to all OCTA users immediately — no additional setup required. When you log in, you'll land on the new home view, which surfaces the most actionable AR metrics at a glance: your current DSO, the value of invoices by aging bucket, recent payment activity, and any accounts flagged for immediate follow-up.

From there, each widget is a drill-down entry point. Clicking on the overdue aging bucket takes you directly to the filtered invoice list for that segment. Clicking on a customer in the payment activity feed opens their full account timeline. The dashboard is designed to reduce the number of clicks between 'I need to understand what's happening in AR today' and the specific data that answers that question.

For finance managers reviewing team performance, the dashboard also surfaces team-level metrics: which accounts have been contacted, which reminders are scheduled for today, and how the current DSO compares to the previous month. This gives managers the context they need to run an effective AR team meeting in under ten minutes — with real data rather than status updates pulled from spreadsheets.
